MAAR Wilma DeMaar, aged 90, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 3, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Conrad DeMaar and her son, Jerome DeMaar in 2004. Wilma is survived by her daughter, Marianne (David) Grooters; daughter-in-law, Judy DeMaar; grandchildren, Jackie DeMaar, Julie (Brent) DeHaan, Jana (Chris) Veneklasen, Brent Rykse and Elizabeth Rykse; great-grandchildren, Alexis DeMaar, Luke and Andrew DeHaan, Tait and Noah Veneklasen; brother, John Quakkelaar; sisters-in-law, Harriet Smith and Dorothy DeMaar. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel with Rev. Barbara Wright officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make contributions to the Holland Home. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral chapel Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. The family wishes to thank the loving staff at the Cook Unit of Holland Home for their dedication and special care of Wilma.
