Violet Domasik, age 72, of Grand Rapids, died February 2, 2007 at home surrounded by her family. She was born July 4, 1934 in Marion, MI. A homemaker and devoted wife and mother, she also worked as a clerk for the city of Grand Rapids. Violet was a kind, happy person generous of heart and spirit who loved the outdoors and working in her garden. She maintained a positive, loving attitude despite her long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Hattie Kamphouse and sister, Erma Kamphouse. She will be sadly missed by husband, Raymond; son Ronald Domasik of Grand Rapids; daughters Markay (Tim) McKenna of Howard City, Susan (Doug) Russo of Carsonville and Jennifer (Corey) Bush of Grand Rapids; grandchildren Justin, Jessica, Lindsey and Emily McKenna, Isabella and Levi Russo and Nicholas Domasik; brothers Albert Jr., Robert, Floyd, Clifford and Melvin Kamphouse. The funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Schneider Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Amble Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller N.E. at Three Mile Rd.
