Tena Krick

Tena Krick, age 84, of Cedar Springs, died Monday, October 2, 2006 at Spectrum Health - Butterworth Campus. Mrs. Krick was born January 24, 1922 in Ada, MI the daughter of Gerritt and Ada (Hovinga) Boomers. She was a member of Huggard Bible Church, Sand Lake. Surviving are four children, Ronald and Mary Krick, Sr. of Pierson, Beverly and Robert Buffinga of Belmont, Gerald Posthumus of Montana, Harry Posthumus of Allendale; three step-children, Sharon and Ben Works of Rockford, Penny Weaver of Kentwood, Pamela and Robert Flint of Newaygo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Jessie and Hank Walma of Caledonia; one sister-in-law, Pearl Cunningham of Ada; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle in 2000, one step-daughter, three brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com where services will be held Thursday 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jonathan Williams officiating.
