Steven Harris

On Sunday, August 28th, 2022, Steve Harris, loving father, passed away at the age of 66.

Steve was born on November 1st, 1955 in Turrell, Arkansas to Roosevelt and Alline (Davis) Harris. As a young man he married and had 3 children, later getting divorced, but never remarried. He worked as a tradesman and enjoyed contracting and carpentry. He honed his skills by furthering his education taking college courses locally where he earned certificates for his completion in their programs.

Steve was a hard worker and always willing to lend a hand to his friends and family. His generosity and kind spirit were admired by peers and strangers. He was known for his quick wit and infectious smile. His favorite pastime was fishing, and he also loved being outdoors, cooking and was an avid music listener. Steve's ancestry shares a Paternal lineage with Pharaoh Ramesses III of ancient Egypt.

Steve was preceded by death by his father Roosevelt, his mother Alline, brother Maurice and sister Arlene. He is survived by his children Miranda, Randy, Dustin, Jalonda and Jasmine, 8 grandchildren as well as many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral service will be held at a later date in Northern Michigan.
