Shirley Ann Ansara [Hanna], age 91, peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
Shirley was born on September 27, 1934 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Charles and Nazeema Hanna.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frederick L. Ansara, son William L. Ansara and sister Joyce Gutierrez.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Laura Ansara.
She had been an active volunteer with the G.O.P. and at the Michigan Home for Veterans.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Church, (334 La Grave Ave. SE Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
Public visitation will occur prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.
Shirley will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
