Shawn Bigelow

Age 60, passed away unexpectedly April 1, 2021. Shawn was born March 16, 1961 in Kittanning, PA to the late Leslie Sr. and Betty (Black) Bowser. She was also preceded in death by her sister, and best friend, Cindy Silva. On May 25, 1980, Shawn married Paul Bigelow. She will always be remembered as a fun-loving Mother, Grandmother and Wife. Shawn is survived by her husband of 41 years, Paul; children, Eric (Kari) Bigelow, Sarah Bigelow; grandchildren, Jarek Schwallier, Mackenzie Bigelow, Luca Leishman, Alexandra Leishman, and Amory Leishman. Also surviving are her siblings, Pamela (Robert) Weaver of Goshen, IN, Sue (Donald) Pease of Greer, SC, Leslie Jr. (Sandy) Bowser of Grand Rapids, Darla (Jeff) VerBeek; several in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service is planned for Friday April 9, 2021 at NOON at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 3-5 or 6-8 and also on Friday beginning at 11 AM. All are invited to a “garage” party at Eric's house after the service to help celebrate her life.
