Sandy Swan

Sandra Kay Swan, 84, entered her heavenly home December 19, 2025. Sandy was born on December 21, 1940 in Kewanee, IL. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Joyce and Bonnie; and her aunt Florence and uncle “Bud” Cole who raised her as a young girl. Sandy was a dedicated member of Third Reformed Church and enjoyed serving and participating in several ministries over the years. Her leadership in Kid’s Hope was a great outreach and ministry felt in local public schools. Sandy loved gardening and knitting, but her greatest love was being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Debra (DeeJay) Martin, Bruce Swan, Brenda (Jim) Bodwin, Teresa (Keith) O’Leary, Judee (David) DeVries, Julie Voss; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; and several cousins. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11 AM at Third Reformed Church, 2060 Michigan Street NE where friends may visit with her family beginning at 10 AM.
