CURRAN - After a long struggle with Alzheimer's Sally Ryan Curran died Wednesday, April 12, 2006. She was born on December 24, 1929 to William and Gladys Ryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fredick Curran; and brother, David. Sally is survived by her brothers, Patrick, William, and Thomas and sisters, Mary (Walt) Muenzenmeyer, Nancy (Edward Nummerdor) and Patricia (David) Race; along with many nieces and nephews. Sally loved life; she was vivacious, well dressed and always fun to be with. She enjoyed painting, making jewelry, doing needlework, dancing and traveling worldwide. While she never had children of her own, she really enjoyed her nieces and nephews. Sally was very generous with her time and money. Most of her working life was in retail, as a fashion coordinator and model for Wurzburg and Jacobson. She also worked at Witmark Breton Village. In 1972 she moved to Naples, Florida and was the concierge for Marco Island Marriot then at the Naples Bath and Tennis Club. She loved Florida for the twenty years she lived there. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2750 Burton St. S.E. The family will receive visitors an hour before the service. They also want to thank all of the staff of Luther Home and Hospice of Michigan; she had excellent, loving care for the seven years spent there. Donations can be made to Luther Home 1950 32nd St. S.
