Ruth Brink Hoekema

Ruth Brink Hoekema, aged 92, of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, January 29, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony A. Hoekema. She is survived by her children, Dorothy and Roger Graham of England, Jim Hoekema of New York, David and Susan Hoekema of West Olive, Helen and Marv Van Wyck of Illinois; grandchildren, Sarah and James Graham, Colin, Janna, and Klaas Hoekema; brother-in-law, Andrew and Alyda Hoekema of Jenison; nieces, nephews, and many others whom she enfolded in her love. Her love for her family and her Lord knew no bounds. Even as she grew weaker she strengthened others through her witness and her prayers. Funeral Services will be held Friday 2:00 p.m. at the Raybrook Manor Chapel with Rev. Ruth Boven officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Family and friends may visit Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Zaagman Memorial Chapel and Friday 12:30 to 2:00 at Raybrook Manor.
