PROOS Mr. Russell W. Proos age 96, of Newaygo, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away in Lake Placid, Florida on Saturday February 22, 2014. He was preceded by his wife Jeanette, brother Ken and sister Bertha. He is survived by his children Sharon and Dale Kosters, Tim and Vicki Proos; grandchildren Bryan and Diana Kosters and Brett and Jamie Kosters; great grand children Noah and Makenna Kosters; his brother Jack and Diane Proos and sister Jean Riemersma. A service to celebrate Russ’s life will be held on Friday February 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE Grand Rapids, MI. Relatives and friends may visit with his family at the chapel from 6-8 pm Thursday February 27 and 10:00AM Friday until the time of the service.
