Russell A. Hogendyk

Russell A. "Squeek" Hogendyk, aged 77, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Blodgett Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Vivian Hogendyk; and siblings, Thomas, Warren, Neil, and Nell Egge. Russell was an Army Veteran and was a self-employed remodeling contractor. He was a devoted football fan. At Creston High School, he played football for three years and at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, he was a fullback on a winning team. Russ enjoyed recalling stories with his life-long friend, Jack Wilson. His last wish was to be with his brother, Buddy. Surviving are sister, Tootie and Fred Boogert; brother, Robert and Jackie Hogendyk and family; special nieces and nephews, Michael and Cathy Hathaway and family, Donna, Chuck and Rusty Bobo, Mary Flickinger and family and many other loving nieces and nephews.
