Age 67, passed away January 17, 2021 at Spectrum Blodgett Hospital. Rubbin was born June 17, 1953 in Holly Springs, MS to the late Lee and Ruth (Hankins) Allen. He was also preceded in death by his great grandson, Joseph Michael Allen III; brother's, James, Johnnie and Bobby Allen. Rubbin was a gifted mechanic who loved cars. He was a lifelong baptist who loved his Lord and his family. Rubbin is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ruby; son, Joseph Sterling (Vanessa Johnson) of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Joseph Allen Jr., Mitchell Johnson, Juwan Sterling, Jacarre Sterling, Breann Thompson, Samantha Cheny, Jamiea Sterling, Alicia Marshall, Taviannah Potes, Jaya Hill; great grandchildren, Jaleana Allen, Isaiah Thompson, Jeremiah Rogers, Athena Rogers, and Sa'Riya Baldwin. He is also survived by his siblings, James Jones, Queen Esther Allen Whitehead, and Betty Allen.
