Roxie A. Bilello

Roxie A. Bilello, aged 55, of Middleville died Thursday, April 13, 2006 at her residence. She was born on January 5, 1951, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Billie and Thelma (Pitts) Allen and graduated from Big Rapids High School. From the early 1980's through the mid 1990's, Roxie was employed at Fitzsimmons Manufacturing in Big Rapids until moving to Middleville where she began work at Lacks Industries. On September 2, 1995, she married Michael Bilello who survives. Roxie enjoyed sewing, camping, her dog "Tootsie", quality time with her grandchildren, and weekends with her husband at their property in Stanwood. Along with her husband, Roxie is survived by three children, Dawn (Joe Boem) Fewless of Grand Rapids, Dottie Schumaker of Grand Rapids and Gary Adams of Big Rapids; three grandchildren, Ashlee, Kaylee and Alyssa; two step-children, Marco and Andria Bilello; four sisters, Lorene (Willis) Stevens of Big Rapids, Glenda (Ronald D.) Zuern of Big Rapids, Belinda (Jerry Ouderkirk) Allen of Grand Rapids and Bonnie (Joseph) Lewis of East Jordan; two brothers, Billy (Julie Best) and Jim Allen, both of Paris; two brothers-in-law, Tom Bilello and Tony (Chris) Bilello; her mother and father-in-law, Mark and Eva Bilello; an aunt, Margery Baldwin of Alabama; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Tuesday), April 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Rev. Foster Brummel officiating. Memorial contributions to the Meijer Heart Center may be left at the funeral home where Roxie's family will greet friends today (Monday) from 5 to 8 p.m. and prior to services on Tuesday.
