MCCLURE, Rose J.
Grand Rapids, MI
Age 94 passed away November 28, 2019 at Boulder Creek Assisted Living. Rose was born June 27, 1925 in Grand Rapids to the late Benjamin and Hilda (Boersema) Vugteveen. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond McClure; siblings, Harvard Vugteveen and Gloria Lukaart. Rose was a longtime member of Fairview and Orchard Hill Reformed Church. She loved music, singing in the church choir and taught private lessons in piano and guitar. Rose will be remembered for her love for her family. She is survived by her son, Rob (Pam) McClure of Rockford; grandsons, Scott (Andrea) McClure of Rockford, Brandon (Bethany) McClure of Rockford; and great grandchildren, Sergio, Brooks and Berklee. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 5 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 1833 Plainfield Ave NE. Friends may visit with family beginning at 4 PM. Interment will be in Fairplains Cemetery.
