Rose Heyman

HEYMAN (Guminski) Rose “Dolly” C. Heyman, aged 86 of Grand Rapids and Croton, MI, born August 30, 1927 and passed away on March 17, 2014 following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard “Jerry” Heyman, her parents, John and Clara Guminski, her brother, Ron (Ruth) Guminski, and her brother-in-law, Jerry Golembiewski. Rose is survived by her daughter, Gerrie Lynn Heyman, her sisters, Lorraine Golembiewski, Betty (Bob) Galdys; her sister-in-law, Joan (Leo) Rathbun and many special nieces, and nephews. Rose retired from Knape & Vogt. She loved hosting family get-togethers at the river and playing cards. The family would like to thank the staff at Brookcrest for their care and kindness during her stay. Per her request cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 29 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 156 Garfield Ave. SW. The family will greet visitors at the church for one hour before the Mass. Contributions in her memory can be made to Spectrum Hospice or Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Capitol Campaign.
