Ronald A. Moore, age 81 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully in his home on December 24, 2022 and is now at rest in the presence of his Lord and Savior. Ron spent most of his life in Grand Rapids. He served in the United States Air Force. Ron loved working with his hands. At work, he perfected his skills, specializing as a flame hardener. But he used these skills and others as well, fixing things around the house, helping others, making iron art and working in his yard. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his children Debbie (Duane) Ambrose, Sandie (Dave) VanBeek; grandchildren Josh (Jenny) Ambrose, Jenna (Steven) Grep, Ben and Nick VanBeek; stepchildren Amy (Roger) Boyer and Barry (Jennifer) Fox; step-granddaughter, Allison Fox; brothers Bob (Marie) Moore and Richard (Liz) Moore; sister Pattie (Fred) Olejniczak; sisters-in-law Gigi (Tom) Wesholski, Kitty (Steve) Jarmosco; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Don Wysocki. The service to remember and celebrate Ron’s life will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home – Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel.
