Roger Allen Reames

Roger Allen Reames, age 82, passed way Friday, January 13, 2007 in Ft. Myers, FL. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; his children, Bonnie and Lee Schubert of Wyoming, Larry and Jean Reames of Belmont, Marcelyn and Peter Carlberg of Grand Rapids, Paul Reames of Bisbee, AZ, Marcelle and Douglas Smith of Comstock Park, Douglas and David Sorenson of Grand Rapids; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Keith and Judy Reames and Gary and Carolyn Reames of Grand Rapids and sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Charles Houck of Grand Rapids; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Living in Florida gave him the chance to play his beloved trumpet in a dance band and play golf every day. At his request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in his name to Hope Hospice.
