Robert Michael Mikula

(Comstock Park) Mr. Robert Michael Mikula, aged 49, had his final courageous fight against Huntington's Disease on April 1, 2006 and is now hunting in Heaven with his father, Lawrence Sr.; brothers, Lawrence Jr. and Joseph; niece, Margaret Weisen; great nephew, Avery Trader; brother-in-law, Dennis McWilliams. He is survived by his loving children, Amy Jean (Ian) Mikula-Fonnesbeck, Michael Harold Mikula; his much loved and devoted mother, Helen Mikula; mother of his children and special friend, Janet (Ron) Rasch; siblings, Carol Simmons, Jim (Donna) Mikula, Bill (Joanne) Mikula, Nancy McWilliams, Mark (Lori) Mikula, Andy (Julie) Mikula, Zane (Char) Griffin; several nieces, nephews, cousins; special in-laws, Sharon Mikula, Barb (Gary) Taggart, Harold (Jean) Piccard. A special thank you to Angie, Cassie, Heather, Kim and all the loving staff of Metron of Belding - your kindness will not be forgotten. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd. NW with Rev Dan DePew as celebrant. The family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE and one hour prior to the Mass at church. The Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
