Robert James Hoch, aged 61, of Ada, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. He is survived by Shirley, his loving wife of 31 years; daughter, Susan; son, Barry; three brothers, Dana (Marge) Hoch, Richard (Sharon) Hoch, James (Rita) Hoch; nieces, nephews and cousins. He is a former member of the East Grand Rapids Police Department, Lions Club, West Michigan Law Enforcement, and a long time member of the American Society of Industrial Security. Robert served two tours in Vietnam with Special Forces. A Memorial Service will be held at Keystone Community Church, 2119 Lake Dr. SE, East Grand Rapids, MI 49506 at 2 PM on Friday, December 8.
