Richard Wilk

Richard David Wilk, age 72 of Grand Rapids, passed away September 16, 2025. Rick was born to Roy and Elizabeth (Constantine) Wilk and was the youngest of three children. He graduated from Sparta High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He would marry and have 2 children. Throughout life, he worked a number of jobs, mostly in the manufacturing industry. Rick enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing throughout his life. In 2009, he was hit by a cargo truck and his injuries were life altering.

Rick is survived by his children (and grandchildren): David & Lisa Wilk (Bradley, Logan, Kaden and Hailey), Laura & Dale Schuiling (Elijah, Jordan, Ian and Alyssa); his brother, Aaron (Lori) Wilk as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Wilk.

A private graveside service will be held.
