Life Story / Obituary
Psalm Hoogeveen-Miller, passed away December 19, 2025. Psalm was born on November 19, 2025 to Anica Miller and Sy Hoogeveen, who loved him dearly and miss him greatly.
Psalm was called home far too soon, but he was known and loved by God from the very beginning. In his one short month of life, Psalm brought immeasurable love, hope, and tenderness to all who held him and prayed over him. Though his days on earth were few, his life was filled with purpose and surrounded by love.
Scripture reminds us, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you” (Numbers 6:24–26). We trust that Psalm rests safely in God’s presence, held in perfect peace and everlasting love.
Psalm’s life, though brief, has left an eternal imprint on our hearts. He will always be remembered, forever cherished, and deeply missed, until the day we are reunited again.
Psalm is lovingly remembered by his parents Sy moon Hoogeveen, and Anica Miller, his grandparents Beth Miller, Matt Miller, Amanda Miller-Poulson (Ross) and Richard Fritz; his great-parents Barbara Winn, Dan Miller (Shawn), Karen Bundy, Bob Bundy, Deborah Boerner (Steve); his aunts and uncles Madison, Brittani, Richard Jr., Sophia, Sidney, and JT; his cousins Indy, Bentlie, and Damion; and his great-uncle Ray Hoogeveen, along with many other family members who loved him deeply.
Psalm’s family will meet with friends on Friday January 2 2026 at 11:00 AM for a time of visitation at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes – Van Strien Creston Chapel, located at 1833 Plainfield Ave., N.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49505. A memorial service honoring the life of Psalm will be held on January 2nd at 12:00 PM at the funeral home, A luncheon will follow this service as well.
Family and loved ones are invited to gather to celebrate Psalm’s life, reflect on God’s promises, and find comfort in faith and fellowship.
