Philip Timmer

Philip L. Timmer of Hudsonville, MI, left his earthly home and went to his heavenly home to be with the Lord he so loved on February 9, 2025.

Phil was owner of T&T Industrial Construction, Inc. for over 24 years. He loved the construction business. He also serviced his community for 6 years as Zeeland Township Trustee. Most of all, he treasured the time he spent with his family hunting, fishing and just being together.

He leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend of 63 years, Lillian. He will be greatly missed an lovingly remembered by his dear children, Philip R. Timmer, Richard L. and Dawn Timmer, Brian J. and June Timmer, Christine J. and Jeff Everett; grandchildren, Rachel & Brandon Hood, Levi Timmer, Luke Timmer and Sam & Leah Timmer, Joshua & Amanda Timmer, Jacob & Sydney Timmer, Matthew & Cassey Timmer, Mary & Kreg Westergren, Nicholas & Emily Timmer, Jeremy & Joelle Timmer, Nate Drumheller & Zach Drumheller; Seven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence R. & Bertha Timmer, sisters-in-law, Patricia Vander Zee and Sallie Van Wyk.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James, brothers-in-law, Carl Vander Zee, and Paul Van Wyk, sister-in-law, Marion Timmer. He was also preceded by his beloved grandson, Andrew L. Timmer, daughter-in-law, Tricia Timmer, and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose. He has been a faithful member of Borculo Christian Reformed Church for many years.

Philips family will meet with friends on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 4 – 7 pm at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, located at 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. A service to remember Philip's life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Borculo CRC, 6464 96th Ave, Zeeland, Michigan. Memorial contributions in Philip’s name can be directed to Corewell Health Hospice.
