Peter Draugalis

Peter Thomas Draugalis, age 84, passed away at his home on Friday, February 17, 2006. He was in the army during WWII and was a recipient of two purple hearts and a bronze star. Peter had a kind and gentle heart, who would give more than the shirt off his back for anyone; and he was the greatest poker player in the world. He just celebrated his 60th wedding anniversary on February 2 with the love of his life, Ada. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Marie Draugalis; sister, Rose Bajorinas. He is survived by his wife, Ada; sons, Peter and Marion, Paul and Jolaine, David and Nita; granddaughter, Dari Anne Draugalis; sister, Lillian and Richard Havenga; many nieces and nephews. Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, February 20, 1:00 pm at Ss. Peter & Paul Church with Fr. Dennis Morrow Celebrant. Peter will lie in state at the church one hour prior to mass. Interment Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Friends may meet the fa! mily at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m., where a scripture service will take place at 6:00 pm.
