Pauline L. Essex

Pauline Essex, [Bagley] age 102, passed away in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 26, 2025 with her loving family by her side.

Pauline was born in February of 1923 in Pierson, MI to the late John and Mary Bagley. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her Husband Ivan C. Essex who passed in 1994, her son Raymond C. Essex who died in 1979, her siblings Howard Bagley, Jay Bagley and Dorothy Bradley and by her daughter-in-law Yvonne Essex.

Pauline is survived by her sons Bob, (Mary) Essex, Bruce Essex and daughter Mary Ann Essex as well as by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Pauline had been an active member at Resurrection Life Church.

Funeral services have been scheduled to take place at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt-Shawmut Chapel, (2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504) on Friday May 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Visitation with the family will take place at the funeral home as well on Thursday May 1, 2025 from 6-8 PM.

Pauline will be laid to rest next to Ivan and Raymond in Washington Park Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids, MI.
