Michael Hoeksema

Michael (Mike) Hoeksema, aged 48, of Grandville, passed away peacefully and was called to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, December 27, 2006. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Hoeksema. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Joe and Kyle; mother, Nina Hoeksema; brothers, Steve Hoeksema, Ted Hoeksema; sisters, Rhonda Eldridge (and her children, Matt, Mandy, Justin, Mariah, Makayla, and Gabriella); Dianna and Greg DeVries (and their children, Andrew, Kaylee, Jacob, and Josh); his grandma, Lavon Thompson; his special aunt, Cathie Hansen; and several other aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville, with Rev. Daniel Mouw officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Paws with a Cause.
