Michael D. Werkema

Michael D. Werkema, aged 34, of Kentwood, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2006. He was preceded in death by his father, David Werkema and step-brother, Craig Helmus. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Sonja and Sidney Helmus; sister, Michelle and David Crysler; nieces, Kirstin and Jasmine Buffham; step-brother, Curtis Helmus; sister-in-law, Cynthia Helmus; nephews, Steven and Daniel Helmus. Funeral services for Michael will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo, SE with Pastor David Spoelma officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
