Meta Helene Huizenga

Meta Helene Huizenga, aged 87, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 13, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; brother, Richard Friedrich; and sister, Cecelia Goodrich. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Janet and Roger Dertien, Ruth Ann and Frank Suskey, Patricia and Terrell Clark, Paula and Bill Minch, Mary and Bill Johnson, Linda and Henry Clark; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Gertrude Pentinmaki, Dorthea and Andrew Komarchuk; sister-in-law, Dorothy Friedrich; brother-in-law, Floyd Huizenga; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Chapel, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville, with Rev. Walter Roberts, officiating. Interment Fairplains Cemetery.
