Maureen O'Malley

Maureen A. O’Malley aged 73 of Grand Rapids, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at St. Mary’s Health Care. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mike O’Malley; her children, Jim O’Malley, Mary Beth (Denny) Westcott, Peggy (Brian) Olds; her grandson, Wyatt Olds; her sisters and brother, MaryAnn (Bill) Irwin, Frank (Jan) Lowry, Peg Lowry; other nieces, nephews and friends. Maureen was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She worked for 24 years at Holy Spirit Parish as Religious Education Secretary. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2239 Lake Michigan Dr. NW. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet her family on Sunday from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home – 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, and again at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the Mass begins.
