Mary Lou Staskiewicz, age 98, peacefully passed away at home, January 13, 2026. Mary was born October 19, 1927 in Grand Rapids to the late Stanley and Michalina (Glowacki) Kubiak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isadore Staskiewicz in 2012; and her brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Delores Kubiak. Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Amy Staskiewicz. Friends and family will visit together Friday, January 16, 2026 from 2-4 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. A service will be held at 4 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Michael and Amy want to share a special thank you to all the caregivers who provided such gracious care to Mary during her last days. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the charity of donor’s choice.
