Mary Knibbe

Mrs. Mary Agnes Knibbe, daughter of Theodore and Corinne Engelsma, passed away August 20, 2022 at the age of 74. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dirk; by her children, Nora (Scott) Van't Zelfde, Dr. Jeff (Andrea) Knibbe, Kevin (Carrie) Knibbe, Ryan (Rachel) Knibbe, Karla Knibbe, Randy (Heather) Knibbe, Joel (Jacqueline) Knibbe, Karalyn (Justin) Weeda, and Trent (Sharla) Knibbe; and by 48 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 expected great-grandchild. Also surviving are her siblings, Daniel (Sharon) Engelsma, Janet (Paul) DeVisser, Ted (Nancy) Engelsma, Tom (Deb) Engelsma; sister-in-law, Beth Engelsma her aunts and uncles, Donald Engelsma, James Engelsma, Barbara Koning, Ruth & Dick Kamp and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother David Engelsma. The funeral service will be held 10 AM on Friday August 26, 2022 at First Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 1261 Beckwith NE. Mrs. Knibbe reposes at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW where friends may visit with her family on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
