Martinus "Mart" DeBruine

Mr. Martinus “Mart” DeBruine, age 72, of Grand Rapids, passed away on June 6, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Jacoba DeBruine. Mart is survived by siblings, Gilbert and Eleanor, Carl and Mary, and Albert and Marla DeBruine; nieces and nephews, Julie Bylsma, Randall and Brenda DeBruine, Karen Seager and David Splittgerber, Rachael and Gary Kersten, and Teresa and Richard Rose; and 17 great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff at Edison Christian Health Center for the loving care and compassion shown to Mart. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 12, 2023 at First Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 1261 Beckwith Ave NE with Rev. H. Hofman. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM on Saturday, June 10 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home – Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield Ave NE.
