Mark A. Grusnis, of Sparta Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2025. Mark was preceded in death by his parents the late George and Patricia Grusnis. Mark is survived by his former wife Sue Grusnis, his children Jacob (Shannen Ellis) Grusnis, Sarah (Chris) Free and Leah Grusnis. Mark also leaves behind his grandchildren Donovan Grusnis, Aubrey, Brody, Carly Free, and Kayla Grusnis. Mark was one of seven children in the Grusnis family. He is survived by all of his siblings; George (Terrie), Lori, Brian (Pat), Matt (Sharon), Ed (Marianne), and Mary (Hamilton) White and many nieces and nephews.

Mark was born in the spring of 1958 on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids and raised on Summer Avenue, with his six siblings. Mark attended Union High School where he graduated in 1976. A few short years later Mark began working at Steelcase and after many years he retired in 2018.

Mark was an avid outdoorsmen. Hunting and fishing were his main passions, and he was very passionate about his animals, especially his cat Tiger. Mark loved spending summers with his family around his backyard pool and celebrating the fourth of July with a large assortment of fireworks.
