Marianne “Tutti” Kale [Barto], died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 15, 2023. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert “Bob”, her Parents Bernard “Bunny" & Eleanor Barto, her siblings Jerry Barto, Janice Barto, baby Michael, her nephew Michael, maternal grandparents Anthony & Victoria Martinaitas & fraternal grandparents Stanley & Helen Barto. She leaves behind her loving girls Kathleen Kale & Barbara Hankins (spouse Rick), grandchildren who she adored, Michelle Wolfe (spouse Tarah), April Wolfe (spouse Jeremy Bird), Meghan Arbanas, Daniel Hankins (spouse Ashley), Joseph Hankins (spouse Gabrielle), great-grandson Harvey Hankins who brought her so much joy, niece Cheri Bollman (spouse David), and nephew Robert Barto (spouse Connie).

Tutti loved going up north to their cottage with the family and running "Kale’s Korner Bar" together with her husband for over 40 years. One of her enjoyments with her husband was going to Detroit to the race track. She loved her sunny pool days with her husband and all the family, along with the yearly family trips to Cedar Point.

A private service with the family will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers consider a donation to John Ball Zoo, (1300 W. Fulton St., Grand Rapids, MI, 49505) or to Emmanuel Hospice, (401 Hall St SW #263, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). She and her husband loved the monkeys at the zoo and the Hospice staff were a blessing in her final months.
