Marian J. Sommer

Marian J. Sommer aged 92 of Allendale, MI. passed away on Friday May 15, 2015 at Allendale Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. Sommer on March 14, 2015, and her daughter, Loni Landefeld in 2014. She is survived by her children, David and Pat Sommer, Donelle and Brian Hamacher, Scott and Tina Sommer; her son-in-law, Jim Landefeld; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her sister Beryl Bennett, brothers, Nevin (Barb) Meyer, Kenneth (Sarah) Meyer; her brother-in-law, Judson Kovalak; many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate the lives of both Carl and Marian Sommer will be held At St. Johns United Church of Christ, 1933 Bridge St. NW, on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 6:00 pm. Relatives and friends may meet their family at the church on Thursday from 5:00 pm until the service begins. Contributions in their memory may be made to St. John’s United Church of Christ.
