Loraine Llewellyn

LLEWELLYN, Loraine Audrey (nee Stevens), aged 85, of Traverse City, Michigan, formerly of Jenison, Michigan and of Olean, New York, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 55 years, Edward Llewellyn, in 2014. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Sara) Llewellyn, Brenda (Dave) Lamb, Timothy (LuAnne) Llewellyn; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Llewellyn was born in Olean, New York, in 1937. She married Edward Llewellyn in 1958 and served alongside him in many ministry endeavors with Olean Area Youth for Christ and Allegany Baptist Church. Those who knew Mrs. Llewellyn knew well her love of her Savior, Jesus Christ, and her cheerful, caring, hospitality.

The family gratefully acknowledges the love and constant care provided by Cindy Acker during Loraine’s final seven years.

Interment at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Town of Olean. A private graveside observance will be held, and a family celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date.
