VAN MALDEGEN, Lois

Walker, MI

Age 93, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on February 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, and infant daughter, Tammie. Lois was a loving mother, grandma, and “grandma great”. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to crochet things for her family. Lois is survived by her 5 daughters, Julie (Ardy) Afton, Sandy (Ron Huisman) DeVormer, Lori (Dave) Meeker, Jodi (Robin) Compton, and Wendy (Jon) DeWys; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and special friends, Jan Roedema, Noah Hauke, and Sharon Niemeyer. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW and Monday one hour prior to the service. Her funeral service will be Monday, February 10, 2020 at Noon at Richmond Reformed Church, 1814 Walker Ave NW. Private family interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Words of Hope or Mel Trotter Ministries.
