Mrs. Lois Kosten, age 89, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; brother, Ray (Jo) Nanninga; brothers-in-law, Don Postma and Roger Wood. Lois is survived by her; daughters, Mary Hansen, Lori (Bob) Maat and Cherri (Perry) Pastula; grandchildren, Kurt (Terron) Kosten, Samantha (Josh) Wesseldyke, Jeremy (Alexis) Maat, Eric Pastula, Sarah Pastula and Olivia Pastula; great-grandchildren, Trenton and Kolton Wesseldyke and Maxwell Kosten. Also surviving are her sister, Arlaine Postma; sister-in-law, Joyce Wood; many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, Feb 7, 2026 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Alt and Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW. Visitation will be from 10 until the start of the service. Entombment in Rosedale Memorial Park. Contributions in her memory may be made to Matthews House Ministry or Emmanuel Hospice.
