Linda Modderman

Linda Catherine Modderman, 66, died November 20, 2021. Leaving home at an early age in 1970, she lived in Northern California for many years, later moving briefly to Pennsylvania and then Florida before returning to West Michigan in 1987. She graduated with honors from Davenport University in 2003 with an Associate Degree in Accountancy and worked for Reliable Management Systems as Controller until her retirement in 2019.

Linda was “always upbeat and sometimes saying things you wish she didn’t.” She enjoyed shopping and was thrilled to get a bargain, having lots of fun planning Black Friday excursions. She was happiest when riding her motorcycle through the countryside to visit the Big Lake.

She was preceded in death by her brother Phillip (1969 Vietnam), father John (1987), brother John (1998), mother Beatrice (2003), brother-in-law Ed Jones (2010), and sister Nancy (2013).

Linda is survived by her sister Lisa (Charles) DePrimo, sister-in-law Mary, 7 nieces and nephews, 3 great- nieces and nephew, 1 great-great-nephew, special cousin Barbara (Jim) Bowman, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will also be missed by her friends Maxine, Denise, and Tammy.

The burial took place at Restlawn Cemetery, and a memorial gathering will be planned for a later date. Ride On, Linda. Ride Free.
