Age 59, passed away March 9, 2022 after a short illness. Kim was born June 6, 1962 in Holland, MI to the late C. Kent and Kathleen (Terpstra) Hopkins. She was a lifeguard and swim instructor at the YMCA and was employed at Meijer for 21 years. Kim loved motorcycles, the Coast Guard Festival and her pets. On June 6, 2008 she married Robert Hesse, her husband of 13 years survives as do her brothers, Steven Hopkins and Michael Hopkins both of Holland; and sister-in-law, Carol (Gary) Johnson of Plainfield Twp. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1 PM at First Reformed Church, 620 State Street Holland, MI. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of West Michigan.
