Kenneth Dale Koetsier, age 78, went to be with His Lord on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Intersect Healthcare- Forest Hills in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is survived by son, Andrew of Colorado Springs, grandchildren, Audrey, Elijah, and Hudson of Colorado Springs, and brother Melvin of Wyoming, Michigan. He was married to the late Kaylyn Koetsier (McMurray) for 10 years (preceding him in death by 38 years). He was also preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lucile Koetsier (Vandenberge). He was a member of Calvary Undenominational Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, college pastor at Grace Bible Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan for 19 years, and missionary to St. Petersburg, Russia with Russian Gateways sent by Skiff Lake Bible Church for 10 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Skiff Lake Bible Church (8277 S. Jackson Rd, Clarklake, MI) with Pastor Andrew Koetsier officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at church and a luncheon will follow. Burial is at Forest Hill Cemetery in Ann Arbor, Michigan with his wife Kaylyn. Memorial contributions may be sent to Skiff Lake Bible Church (Ken Koetsier Memorial) and will be given toward the continuation of Ken’s legacy of mission work in Russia.
