Kaitlyn Nicole Wilson, age 24 of Kalkaska, Michigan, passed away in Grand Rapids on October 2, 2023. Kit had a long and hard fight with Leukemia, and an even longer fight with Graft v. Host Disease.
Kit was born in Traverse City to Daniel Wilson and Sandra Day. They lived with their twin sister and brother-in-law in Kalkaska. They greatly enjoyed drawing and musicals. Kit loved Sherlock Holmes, but only the Benedict Cumberbatch version, and they loved every minute that they were able to spend with their twin sister, Kara.
Kit was preceded in death by their father, Daniel Wilson, and is survived by her mother, Sandra Day; twin sister, Kara Wilson, and brother, Michael Wilson.
All who know KIt will forever remember their laughter and love for life. Their deep compassion and love touched everyone who ever met Kit. They shown like a bright light to all those who were able to get to know them.
