Julie M. Fritsma, aged 78, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 12, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; brother, Alexander Skok, and her sister, Irene Dyer. Surviving are her children, David and Shari Fritsma of Kentwood, Sue and Florian Sullivan of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Christine, Andrew, Travis, Matthew, and Jared; nieces and nephews. Julie made many friends through the course of a long career at Old Kent Bank, she was a lifetime member of Trinity Reformed Church where she enjoyed serving coffee and cookies after Sunday services. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and A Service Of Remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel with Rev. Karsten Voskuil officiating. Interment in Fairplains Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet her family at the chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, and one hour before the service Saturday.
