Judy was born April 10, 1957 in Grand Rapids, to Marvin and Joyce (Veltman) Koets. Also surviving are her sister and brother, Joy (Carl) Oosterhouse of Grand Rapids, and Mark (Sara) Koets of Grandville; nieces and nephews, Andrew (Andrea) Oosterhouse, Emily Oosterhouse, Melissa (Kip) Drewry, Michael (Vani) Koets, Jenna (Derek) VanSpronsen, Kelly Koets, Whitney (Christian) Faber; and several great nieces and nephews. Judy was a member of Westview Christian Reformed Church and Friendship Club. She was a constant positive presence to all in her life, she enjoyed life and working, but especially loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 2 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Friends may visit with her family from 1-2 PM and with refreshments following the service. Interment will be in Rosedale Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Friendship Ministries or MI Chapter of Special Olympics.
