Joyce M. Miller, age 93 of Rockford, passed away September 26, 2023. Joyce was born on February 17, 1930 in Hastings, Michigan to Arthur and Ruth (Borden) Fox. Joyce graduated from Ionia High School and shortly thereafter accepted a job as a secretary at the Pentagon. She always loved music and sang for several years with the sweet Adelines. Joyce was an avid reader, and enjoyed crossword puzzles and scrabble.
In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Miller; and by her grandson, Kevin Miller Jr.; sister, Virginia (Donald) Eychaner; brother, Jack (Betty) Fox; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Joyce is survived by her children Kelly (Robert) Coughlin, Tracey Weed, and Cindy (Casey) Boyce; grandchildren Stefanie (Jeff) Grolle-Rudolph, Anthony Weed, Cristy Coughlin, Brandon (Rachel) Baratono, Jordan (Jaclyn) Baratono, Steven (Kristin) Coughlin, and Tyler Baratono; 7 great- grandchildren: Ella, Harper, Lincoln, Oliver, Madison, Jackson and Madilyn.
