Joseph Kersjes

Joseph B. Kersjes age 81, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine Kersjes; and brothers, Fr. Paul Kersjes, Bernard Kersjes, John Kersjes, Thomas Kersjes, Theodore Kersjes and Francis Kersjes. Joseph was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and a member at St. Francis Xavier Parish. Joseph is survived by his sister, Mary (Donald) Karpinski; sister-in-law, Helen Kersjes; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, Nov 2, 2019 at the Basilica of St. Adalbert, 654 Davis NW. Family will receive visitors for one hour prior to Mass. Interment in Rosedale Memorial Park. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
