John Stoutjesdyk

John Allen Stoutjesdyk, age 76, passed away February 12, 2024 at Butterworth Hospital. John was born July 8, 1947 in Grand Rapids, to the late John M. and Louise A. (DeMaagd) Stoutjesdyk. On May 15, 1970, he married Carol Winters. With his multitude of talents, John started in Tool & Die. He continued touching lives through the years with his building skills, remodeling and home improvements, but also as an adult foster care provider. John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol; his brothers, Steven (Laurie) Stoutjesdyk, Mark (Chris) Stoutjesdyk; sisters-in-law, Sharon Winters, Bette (Jim) Quigley, Lori (Dirk) VandenToorn, Marilyn (Mike) Moorman; aunts, Edith Bazen, Shirley Stoutjesdyk, Dorothy DeMaagd; and he was loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A private family service will be held. Interment will be in Fairplains Cemetery.
