John J. Maintz

John J. Maintz, born July 3, 1940 in Sittard, Netherlands and passed away December 12, 2005 in Dallas, TX. John was preceded in death by father, Mathieu Maintz; and sister, Rosie Trepins. He is survived by wife, Sharon Maintz; son, Brian Maintz and wife, Alma; daughter, Debra Evans and husband, Tim; granddaughters, Randi, Nikki, Sydney and Taylor; mother, Agnes Maintz; and several nieces and nephews. After graduating from Aquinas College, John began his career at Dunn & Bradstreet. He began his banking career at Old Kent Bank in Grand Rapids, MI. In 1986 he took a position at the Bank of Oklahoma in Tulsa. He then transferred to the Bank of Texas in 1999 and retired in 2004 as Executive Vice President. John was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dallas, TX. He was a kind and generous man. He had a good sense of humor and was very dedicated to his wife and family. John will be greatly missed by all. Services are pending for Grand Rapids, Michigan.
