Mrs. Johanna Lanser, aged 96, of Cutlerville, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 7, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brant; her sons, Warren and Lugene; and her son-in-law, Norm Meyer, and leaves behind a family that she loved very much and a church that she cared for deeply. Surviving are her children, Les and Trish Lanser of Holland, Millie Lanser of Kentwood, Joanna Meyer of Grand Rapids, Pete and Jan Lanser of Caledonia, Mary and Ken Wieringa of Cutlerville, Betty and David Schripsema of Kenosha, WI, Judy and Gord Brinks of Cutlerville, Beth Lanser of Zeeland; 35 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. A private family committal service will be held at Winchester Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 3 PM Friday, December 9, at First Cutlerville Christian Reformed Church, 1425 68th St. SW, with Rev. Kenneth VanWyk officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brant and Johanna Lanser Memorial Scholarship Fund at Calvin Theological Seminary or to the First Cutlerville CRC Outreach Fund.
