Jerome Visser

Jerome (Jerry) Visser, aged 70, of Jenison, went to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday afternoon, December 24, 2005. Jerry retired from Vitran in 2000 and was a member of Resurrection Life Church. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Kaye; his children, David, Daryl, Dan and Gregg; five grandchildren, Brett, Danny, Rachael, Cory and T.J.; his one great-grandchild, Mallory; his sisters, Beatrice Slikkers, Flora and Gene Kamps, Isla and Floyd De Boer; his brothers Howard Visser, Gerald and Bea Visser, and Ken Visser; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank and Ann Buys, Glenn and Elaine Klingenberg, Hank and Bev Tubergen, Art and Pat Tubergen, Fred and Sharon Tubergen, Bern and Gloria Tubergen, Cal and Deb Tubergen, Jerry and Sharon Poortenga; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Resurrection Life Church, 5100 Ivanrest Ave. Grandville, with interment in Forest Grove Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family at the VanderLaan Funeral Home Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Resurrection Life Church or Hospice of Holland Home.
