Jeffrey Moore

On Thursday, December 23, 2021, Jeffrey Michael Moore, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at the age of 41 from complications of a stroke he suffered on December 1. Jeff was born on April 1, 1980 in Indiana, PA to Bo and Faye (Forney) Moore. Jeff graduated from Freedom Baptist High School in Hudsonville, Mi (1998). Jeff attended Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonille, FL and then felt a strong calling to serve as a United States Marine. He was honorably discharged after suffering a career ending injury and returned to Michigan. On April 19, 2008 Jeff married Anna Moore (Geldermans) and they have four children together: Vaelyn (12), Maddox (10), Elliot (5) and Deklan (2). Jeff had such a passion for life and his family. Jeff was an incredible husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, hard work and his kind and compassionate spirit. Jeff loved people and people loved Jeff.

Jeff will be greatly missed by his wife: Anna Moore; children: Vaelyn, Maddox, Elliot, Deklan Moore; Mother, Phyllis Faye Moore; Father-In-Law, Arnold Geldermans; Mother-In-Law, Dawn Geldermans; Brother, Jared Moore (Amanda Moore); and nieces and nephews: Giana, Greyson and Gabby; Sister-in-law, Erin Geldermans (Dan Schrek); Brother-in-law, Peter Geldermans (Kara Geldermans); Brother-in-law, Jonathon Geldermans (Ashley Geldermans) and niece Maddie.

Jeff was preceded in death by Grandparents Norm & Adeline Noordeloos; and Uncle Norm Noordeloos Jr.

The service to remember and celebrate Jeff’s life will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 5 PM at Westview Christian Reformed Church, 2929 Leonard Street NW. Friends may visit with his family beginning at 3 PM.
